Komodo dragons can grow up to 3 meters in length and weigh over 70 kilograms. Possessing keen senses, including acute vision and scent detection, they are apex predators within their rugged habitat. Armed with serrated teeth and venomous saliva, Komodo dragons are formidable hunters capable of taking down prey as large as water buffalo. Despite their fearsome reputation, they also exhibit complex social behaviors, including dominance hierarchies and ritualized displays.
