As the rainy season ends in March, the savannah islands of Komodo National Park transform into lush green landscapes. By April, it’s the perfect time to hike to scenic viewpoints and soak in the vibrant panorama of Horseshoe Bay.
From May onward, the greenery gives way to the region’s iconic golden savannahs. Beneath the surface, the underwater world bursts into life with vibrantly colored corals and excellent visibility.
June and July offer peak conditions for snorkeling and diving the spectacular marine environment, with warm waters of 29–30°C and visibility stretching up to 30 meters.
In August and September, sea temperatures remain comfortably warm at 26–28°C, with visibility of 20–30 meters. These months are also ideal for invigorating adventures — whether kayaking through scenic coastlines or skimming across the water on skiff rides.
