Michelin-starred Chef Karime López brings her destination-inspired culinary vision to Aqua Lares, drawing on a global repertoire of flavors to celebrate the finest local ingredients from each destination the ship sails.
In East Africa, her menu draws inspiration from the coastlines of Secyhelles & Tanzania. Mediterranean influences meet Creole traditions, elevated through refined Japanese techniques and locally sourced seafood. Signature dishes include Zanzibar-spiced ribeye, Creole shrimp curry with fried plantain, and lobster tagliatelle with caviar.
In the Arctic Circle, the same philosophy of celebrating place through food is expressed through a menu which uses the finest ingredients found in the Nordic countries and their surrounding seas. Dishes featuring Norwegian scallops, king crab, and local brown cheese are thoughtfully paired with comforting favorites such as freshly baked scones and warm waffles, inviting guests to savor the warmth of Aqua Lares as the Arctic scenery unfolds outside.
Join Chef Karime López aboard Aqua Lares for an exclusive chef-hosted departure from February 17 – 27, 2027 and July 17 – 24, 2027.
